About Us
In 1979, Peter and Alex opened their first Europa Cafe at 205 West 57th Street. This original store has expanded into 10 Europa Cafes throughout New York and the expansion continues on - there will be 12 Europa Cafes operating by 2006.
Like the name implies, Europa Cafes are designed to invoke the feel of a bistro in Europe. With their rich cherry woodwork, stained glass light fixtures, leather banquette seating, and Old World tile accents, the ambience created is one of warmth and welcome. One of our Europa Cafes is even a full-service restaurant with table service by a trained wait staff for a more bistro-like experience.
While our main customer base is the New York City office worker, our expeditious service and accessible yet diverse menus also appeal to the thousands of tourists seeing the sights in New York City. We take into consideration what our always-on-the-go customers need most and design our spaces and menus to work together in providing you a fast and delicious meal.
